About Daily 3

Michigan Daily 3 Lottery

The Michigan Daily 3 is a numbers game where players choose three digits between 0 and 9. These numbers can be played in various ways, increasing the chances of winning.

How to Play

  1. Choose Your Numbers: Select any three digits, each from 0 to 9. You can choose the same digit multiple times (e.g., 111, 121).
  2. Select Play Type: Decide how you want to match your numbers. Options include:
    • Straight: Match all three digits in the exact order drawn.
    • Box: Match all three digits in any order. The prize amount depends on whether there are duplicate digits.
    • Straight/Box: Combines a Straight and Box play. If your numbers match Straight, you win the Straight prize. If they match Box, you win the Box prize.
    • Front Pair: Match the first two digits in exact order.
    • Back Pair: Match the last two digits in exact order.
  3. Choose Your Wager: Decide how much you want to wager per play type. Wagers typically start at $0.50 or $1.
  4. Purchase Your Ticket: Buy your Daily 3 ticket from an authorized Michigan Lottery retailer.

Drawings

Drawings are held twice daily, every day of the week. There are Midday and Evening drawings.

Winning

To win, the numbers on your ticket must match the numbers drawn, according to the play type you selected. Refer to the prize structure to determine the payout for each matching scenario.
