About Daily 4
Michigan Daily 4
Daily 4 is a numbers game where you pick four digits from 0 to 9. Players can win up to $5,000 if they match all four numbers in the exact order. Daily 4 drawings occur twice daily, in the midday and evening. Select four numbers between 0 and 9, or choose Easy Pick and the computer will select them for you.
How to Play
- Choose four numbers from 0-9. Each number is chosen independently, so you can have repeated digits (e.g., 1111, 1223, 4567).
- Select your play type. Options include: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair, Back Pair, and Combo.
- Decide how much you want to wager. Options usually range from $0.50 to $1.00, depending on the play type selected.
- Add optional add-on games, such as 1-OFF if available.
- Mark your selections on a playslip or tell the retailer your numbers.
- Receive and check your ticket. Ensure all numbers and play types are accurate.
Play Types
- Straight: Match all four numbers in the exact order they were drawn.
- Box: Match all four numbers in any order. Payouts vary based on how many unique numbers are chosen.
- Straight/Box: Combines a Straight and Box play on the same ticket. If your numbers match in exact order, you win both the Straight and Box prizes. If they match in any order, you win the Box prize.
- Front Pair: Match the first two digits in the exact order.
- Back Pair: Match the last two digits in the exact order.
- Combo: Covers all possible combinations of the four numbers you choose. This provides multiple chances to win, similar to selecting Straight on every possible combination.
- 1-OFF: Match each of the four numbers exactly one number above or one number below the winning numbers.

Daily 4 drawings are held twice a day, seven days a week:
- Midday: Approximately 12:59 PM ET
- Evening: Approximately 7:29 PM ET
