About Daily 3
Daily 3 is a lottery game offered by the California Lottery where players choose three numbers, each from 0 to 9. Drawings are held daily. There are several ways to play Daily 3, each with different odds and prize amounts.
How to Play:
- Pick three numbers between 0 and 9. Each number can be the same or different.
- Choose your play type: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, or Combo.
- Select the amount you wish to play.
- Mark your numbers on a playslip or ask for a Quick Pick.
- Check your ticket carefully to ensure it matches your selected numbers and play type.
Play Types:
- Straight: Match all three numbers in the exact order they are drawn.
- Box: Match all three numbers in any order. There are two types of Box plays: 3-Way Box (when two of the numbers are the same) and 6-Way Box (when all three numbers are different).
- Straight/Box: A combination of Straight and Box plays. If your numbers match exactly, you win both the Straight and Box prizes.
- Combo: Automatically plays all possible Straight combinations of your three numbers.
- Front Pair: Match the first two numbers in the exact order drawn.
- Back Pair: Match the last two numbers in the exact order drawn.
