Pennsylvania Pick 3 Lottery Information
Pick 3 is a daily Pennsylvania Lottery game where players select three digits, each ranging from 0 to 9. Players can choose to match the numbers in exact order (Straight), in any order (Box), or a combination of both (Straight/Box). Other options such as Front Pair, Back Pair, Middle Pair, and Single Number bets are also available. Drawings are held twice daily, providing players with more opportunities to win.
How to Play:
- Choose three numbers from 0 to 9. Each number is independent, so you can choose the same number multiple times (e.g., 111, 223, 456).
- Select your play type:
- Straight: Match all three numbers in the exact order drawn.
- Box: Match all three numbers in any order. The prize amount differs based on whether the numbers are unique or contain duplicates.
- Straight/Box: Combines a Straight bet and a Box bet. If the numbers drawn match your numbers in exact order, you win the Straight prize. If the numbers drawn match your numbers in any order, you win the Box prize.
- Front Pair: Match the first two digits in exact order.
- Back Pair: Match the last two digits in exact order.
- Middle Pair: Match the middle two digits in exact order.
- Single Number: Match a single digit in the correct position (first, middle, or last).
- Choose the amount you want to wager.
- Select the draw time (Day or Evening, or both).
- Mark your selections on a playslip and present it to a lottery retailer, or use the Quick Pick option for randomly generated numbers.
Drawings:
Pick 3 drawings are held twice daily, seven days a week.
Winning:
To win, your chosen numbers must match the numbers drawn based on your selected play type. Prizes vary depending on the play type and wager amount.
