About Pick 3

Vermont Pick 3 Lottery

Pick 3 is a daily numbers game where you select three digits between 0 and 9, each independently. Drawings are held twice daily. Vermont Lottery participates in a multi-state Pick 3 pool.

How to Play

  1. Choose three numbers, each between 0 and 9. You can pick the same number more than once.
  2. Select your play type:
    • Straight: Match all three numbers in the exact order they are drawn.
    • Box: Match all three numbers in any order. If all three numbers are different, it is a 3-Way Box. If two numbers are the same, it is a 6-Way Box.
    • Straight/Box: A combination of both Straight and Box plays. The prize amount will depend on the play type.
    • Front Pair: Match the first two digits in exact order.
    • Back Pair: Match the last two digits in exact order.
    • Split Pair: Match the first and last digits in exact order.
    • Combo: Covers all possible Straight combinations of your three numbers. Cost varies based on the number of distinct digits.
  3. Choose your wager amount.
  4. Select whether you want to play for the Midday or Evening drawing, or both.
  5. You can play the same numbers for multiple consecutive draws by selecting the Multi-Draw option.

Drawings

Drawings are held twice daily, Midday and Evening, seven days a week.

Odds and Prizes
