Maine Pick 4 Lottery Information
Pick 4 is a daily numbers game offered by the Maine State Lottery. Players select four digits, each ranging from 0 to 9. Drawings are held twice daily, offering two chances to win each day.
How to Play
- Select Your Numbers: Choose four digits, each between 0 and 9. You can either select your own numbers or use the Quick Pick option to have the numbers randomly generated.
- Choose Your Play Type: Select your desired play type (Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front 3, Back 3, Front Pair, Back Pair). Each play type offers different odds and payouts.
- Purchase Your Ticket: Buy your ticket from an authorized Maine Lottery retailer.
- Check Your Numbers: After the drawing, check your numbers against the winning numbers to see if you've won. Winning numbers are available on the Maine Lottery website, at lottery retailers, and in local newspapers.
Play Types Explained
- Straight: To win, your four digits must match the winning numbers in the exact order.
- Box: To win, your four digits must match the winning numbers in any order. The payout for a Box play depends on the combination of digits chosen.
- Straight/Box: This play combines a Straight and Box play. If your numbers match in exact order, you win both the Straight and Box prizes. If your numbers match in any order, you win the Box prize.
- Front 3: Win by matching the first three drawn digits in exact order.
- Back 3: Win by matching the last three drawn digits in exact order.
- Front Pair: Win by matching the first two drawn digits in exact order.
- Back Pair: Win by matching the last two drawn digits in exact order.
