About Pick 4
Pick 4 is a daily numbers game offered by the New Mexico Lottery. Players choose four numbers between 0 and 9. Each number is chosen independently, so you can have repeating digits. Drawings are held twice daily, at approximately 1:00 PM MT and 9:30 PM MT.
To play, you select your four-digit number and a play type. The play type determines how you win and the potential prize amount. Options include Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair, Back Pair and Split Pair.
- Straight: Your numbers must match the winning numbers in the exact order.
- Box: Your numbers must match the winning numbers in any order. Payout depends on the number combination.
- Straight/Box: This combines a Straight and Box play. If your numbers match in exact order, you win both prizes. If they match in any order, you win the Box prize.
- Front Pair: Select the first two digits of the number combination.
- Back Pair: Select the last two digits of the number combination.
- Split Pair: Select the first and last digit of the number combination.
Tickets can be purchased at authorized New Mexico Lottery retailers. Players must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets.
Winning tickets must be redeemed within 90 days of the drawing date.
