Poker Lotto - Ontario Lottery

Poker Lotto is a daily lottery game offered by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). It combines elements of poker with a traditional lottery draw, giving players two chances to win with each ticket: an instant win and a nightly draw.

How to Play

1. Purchase a Ticket: Each Poker Lotto ticket costs $2.
2. Instant Win: When you purchase your ticket, it will display a five-card poker hand. You instantly win a prize if the hand matches a winning combination (e.g., pair, two pair, three of a kind, etc.). The prize values for the instant win portion are pre-determined and displayed on the OLG website or at participating retailers.
3. Evening Draw: Your ticket is also entered into the nightly Poker Lotto draw. Five numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 52 and one bonus number is drawn from a field of 1 to 7.
4. Matching Numbers: You win prizes in the evening draw by matching numbers on your ticket to the numbers drawn. The more numbers you match, the higher the prize. Matching the bonus number can also increase your winnings.
5. Claiming Prizes: Prizes can be claimed at authorized OLG retailers or the OLG Prize Centre, depending on the prize amount.

Odds of Winning

The odds of winning the Poker Lotto jackpot are approximately 1 in 25,989,600. The overall odds of winning any prize are about 1 in 3.6. The specific odds for each prize tier can be found on the OLG website.

The Poker Lotto draw takes place daily at approximately 10:30 PM Eastern Time.
