Lotto Plus 1 Information

Lotto Plus 1 is an additional game played alongside the main Irish Lotto. Players who buy a Lotto ticket also have the option of playing Lotto Plus 1 for an extra cost. It offers players another chance to win a significant prize using the same numbers they selected for the main Lotto draw.

How to Play: To play Lotto Plus 1, you must first purchase a standard Lotto ticket. When buying your ticket, select the 'Plus' option. This will enter your chosen numbers into the Lotto Plus 1 draw, as well as the main Lotto draw and the Lotto Plus 2 draw, if selected.

Draw Details: The Lotto Plus 1 draw takes place immediately after the main Lotto draw on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Six numbers are drawn from a pool of 1 to 47, along with a Bonus number.

Winning: To win a prize in Lotto Plus 1, players must match at least three numbers (or two numbers and the Bonus number) with the numbers drawn. The jackpot prize is awarded to players who match all six numbers. There are multiple prize tiers, with varying amounts awarded depending on the number of matches.

Odds: The odds of winning the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot are approximately 1 in 10.7 million. Overall odds of winning a prize are better, as lower-tier prizes are more readily achievable.
