About Pick 3
Maryland Pick 3 Lottery
Pick 3 is a daily numbers game where players select three numbers from 000 to 999. The draw takes place twice a day, seven days a week: a Midday draw and an Evening draw.
How to Play
- Choose three digits, each from 0 to 9. You can choose the same digit more than once.
- Select your play type:
- Straight: Match the three numbers in the exact order drawn.
- Box: Match the three numbers in any order. There are two box types: 6-way (all numbers are different) and 3-way (two numbers are the same).
- Straight/Box: A combination of straight and box. If your numbers match in the exact order, you win both the straight and box prizes.
- Combo: Covers all possible combinations of your numbers. The prize amount is dependent on the combination of numbers.
- Front Pair: Match the first two numbers in exact order.
- Back Pair: Match the last two numbers in exact order.
- Split Pair: Match the first and last numbers in exact order.
- Choose the amount you want to wager.
- Select your draw time: Midday or Evening (or both).
- You can play the same numbers for up to 7 consecutive draws using the Multi-Draw option.

- Midday: Approximately 1:28 PM ET
- Evening: Approximately 7:56 PM ET
