About Cash 3

Tennessee Cash 3 is a daily numbers game where players select three numbers, each ranging from 0 to 9. There are several ways to play Cash 3, offering different odds and payout structures.

How to Play:

  1. Choose Your Numbers: Select three digits from 0 to 9. You can either choose your own numbers or opt for a Quick Pick where the numbers are randomly generated for you.
  2. Select Play Type: Choose how you want to match your numbers:
    • Straight: Match the numbers in the exact order they are drawn.
    • Box: Match the numbers in any order. There are two types of Box plays: 3-Way (when two numbers are the same, e.g., 112) and 6-Way (when all three numbers are different, e.g., 123).
    • Straight/Box: Combines a Straight and a Box play. If your numbers match in the exact order, you win the Straight prize. If they match in any order, you win the Box prize.
    • Front Pair: Match the first two numbers in the exact order.
    • Back Pair: Match the last two numbers in the exact order.
  3. Choose Your Wager Amount: Select the amount you want to bet, which affects the potential prize payout.
  4. Purchase Your Ticket: Buy your ticket from an authorized Tennessee Lottery retailer.
  5. Check the Results: The Cash 3 drawing occurs twice daily, during the Day and Evening. Check the winning numbers to see if you've won.

Winning Odds and Payouts:

The odds and payouts vary depending on the play type. A Straight play offers the highest payout but also the lowest odds of winning.

Important Information:

  • You must be 18 years or older to play.
  • Tickets cannot be canceled once printed.
  • Prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing date.
  • Always sign the back of your ticket to protect your ownership.
