About Lotto
Lotto: How to Play
Lotto is a Connecticut Lottery game where players select six numbers from a field of 1 to 44. Drawings are held twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
How to Play:
- Choose your numbers: Select six different numbers between 1 and 44, or choose Quick Pick for randomly generated numbers.
- Purchase your ticket: Buy your ticket from any authorized Connecticut Lottery retailer. The ticket price is $1 per play.
- Check the results: After the drawing, check your numbers against the winning numbers. Results are available on the CT Lottery website, at lottery retailers, and in newspapers.
- Winning Numbers: The winning numbers are selected at random during each drawing.
Winning Prizes:
Prizes are awarded based on how many of your numbers match the winning numbers. You can win prizes for matching 3, 4, 5, or all 6 numbers.
If a player matches 3 numbers, they win $5. Matching 4 numbers wins $100. Matching 5 numbers wins $2,500, and matching all 6 numbers wins the jackpot.
Jackpot: The jackpot starts at a minimum amount and increases with each drawing if no one wins. The jackpot is split equally among all players who match all six numbers.
